There had been lots of sightings of a lurcher/greyhound type dog racing at high speed down many main roads, avoiding traffic by the skin of his teeth and covering large areas of ground. A map was plotted of sightings; the area he covered was vast. Cars could be seen crawling along looking down side streets, people were openly looking and talking about the big dog that was running scared:
