The Influence of Creativity on Writing is an anthology of multiple unique individuals. Each person's own creativity plays an integral part in how they write, what they write, and why they write. This reflects their individual creativity. Writing influences our creativity, just like creativity influences our writing. Practice your creativity, and your writing will open doors to numerous ideas and knowledge. Practice your writing, and your creativity brings intrigue, beauty and thought. If painting causes the viewer to think, then writing causes the reader to think. The Influence of Creativity on Writing demonstrates the wonder of words and the many different ways they can be stitched together. As you read each contribution, think about and listen to the creative influences brought by each writer. This anthology includes various types of writing styles, such as short stories, poetry, newspaper articles and playwriting. This book was inspired by ten creative writers in a creative writing class offered by Nashville Community Education and taught by Oluwakemi Elufiede. The course emphasizes the discovery of imaginative writing abilities through creative and innovation activities. Activities include icebreakers, team-building, power writing, progressive stories, writing prompts, peer story reviews, peer review sessions, read-aloud and group discussion. Through these adventures, writers are able to analyze, synthesize and think critically about literary styles in relation to their writing style.
