60 Studies for the Violin
Franz Wohlfahrt
Franz Wohlfahrt - 60 Studies, Op. 45 are among the best studies for the young violinist. Wohlfahrt, a pupil of Ferdinand David, believed that the first position should be mastered before learning other positions and that the development of the fourth finger should start as early as possible. These 60 studies cover all of the essential left and right hand techniques needed to lay down a firm foundation. By learning these studies, you will be following in the footsteps of generations of violinists.
