Alexandra Pine is not your typical eleven year old girl. Along with her younger brother Daniel, the two of them are Guardians of Legends, charged with protecting the core of the very legends that give humanity its strength and continuity. Together, they faced down and defeated the fallen legend known as Sodon Blackflame and brought a measure of peace to the spirit realms. Now, the school year is over without further incident and Alexandra is being sent to an out of state Summer Camp in Colorado. Despite feeling alone at first, she makes friends with the campers Helen and Jean and meets Chipeta, a camp counselor and Keeper of the Ways of the Nuutsui. The second night at camp, Alexandra finds herself back in the spirit realm where Coyote himself warns her Sodon has returned and is as dangerous as ever. Alexandra needs to learn new strengths for Sodon's power is slowly growing. Once more in a race against time, Alexandra now must learn how to pierce the very barriers between the worlds so that when the time comes, she will be able to face Sodon. Yet, as before, the fate of the world hangs in the balance and, aided once more by Yanta and Katarina, Alexandra and Daniel must learn their lessons swiftly to defeat the growing darkness of the fallen legend of Sodon Blackflame...
