George Walker (1749-1832), a son of Joseph and Catherine Walker of Hereford, MD (see Volume I), lived in the Millers area of Baltimore (now Carroll) County, MD. George Walker and his wife, Elizabeth Shaul, had ten children and they left numerous descendants in MD and PA as well as in the mid west and western United States. Some of the allied families were: Fissel (Fishel), Miller, Lamott, Hart, Gillham, Acton, Williams, McCullough, Hofheiser, Fritz, Shue, Shaffer, Owings, Wirtz, Fisher, Zeigler, Young, Clark, Edmondson, Steffy, Hoffacker, Fuhrman, Dubbs (& Dubs), Yost, Bortner, Hutchinson, Kulp, Shook, Hoffman, Warner, Sweitzer, McEntarfer, Barnett, Sellers, Krebs, Garvick, Bixler, Alban, Grogg, Taylor, Sherman, Powell, Likes, McMahan, Ramsour, Masemore and Rother. The data includes (for most individuals) dates and places of birth, death, marriage and location of burial with cemetery citations. The early generations in this volume are thoroughly documented with numerous source citations, maps and graphics.
