Meeting, marriage, children, travel, and devastation: those topics are what this story is all about. Two average people making a go at life over a fifty-seven year period until their parting is described in this book. The couple matured along with their children over a period of twenty-six years until they left us alone giving us a chance to travel in three continents beside the continent of North America over our remaining years. Much of this book pertains to our travels in Europe, Peru, and eight times in Africa. Our lives had a few minor calamities, but on the whole we trudged our way through life with happiness most of the time. This book is about us and not our children; therefore, much of our adventures with our children are minimized. Not a sensationalized book, but one that explains how two people managed to live out a "good" life.
