An adventure of a young boy all alone after the death of his mother. Before she dies, she tells him to find his father, Edgar Parker, a sailor. He left port on a ship before Elliott was born. The talk, down on the dock of New Orleans is that a pirate by the name of Edgar Parker is captain of the Black Widow, stealing, murdering, and savaging other ships at sea. Elliott talks his way onto a ship that is hired to capture the Black Widow, the captain and its crew. He has to find his father.
