Tina, a white porn performer, wants to break into mainstream movies. Having studied theatre, she has enough of performing in low budget porn features. Barry, her husband and business partner, is content to produce Tina's porn features. Their activity provides them with a comfortable living. A friend informs Tina that Sam Cohen, a Hollywood producer, is financing a full-length artistic erotic film. She pushes Barry to arrange a meeting. Cohen informs them that the feature will be shot in Bermuda. There is one catch. If selected, Tina will have to perform with Jon, a young local Bermudian black man. Tina is uncomfortable. She has never performed with a black man. Barry asks if he can direct Tina's scenes. Cohen agrees. They sign the contract. During the cruise to Bermuda, Barry asks Tina whether she ever had a relationship with a black man. Tina does not give a straight answer. This becomes a source of friction. When Tina meets Jon in Bermuda, she discovers they share a common interest in acting in theatre. The two develop an emotional bond during the shooting of their sex scenes. Tina notices Barry getting uncomfortable when she engages in sexual foreplay with Jon. Sometimes Barry stops shooting in the middle of scenes. Fed up with Barry's behaviour, she confronts him. She demands artistic control over the script. Can Tina have her way? Will she be able to achieve her life-long ambition of acting in mainstream films?Read the book to find out how events play out for Tina.
