"For Christmas Sake" is based on a true story about the night that Natividad Gabaldon was born... Christmas Eve, 1925. The story, as told to her by her father, is of his dramatic trek through the forest with his pregnant wife and son to attend a Christmas Eve party. Their wagon overturns leaving them stranded in the wild. The nine-month pregnant mother and child must depend on the father's ingenuity and resolve in order to survive, even as a pack of coyotes stalk them in the midst of a growing snow storm.
