She was verbally, mentally, and physically abused by a man whom she thought loved her. She stayed in her marriage due to having children and being threatened, and tormented if she left. The abuse soon followed her children with their own father becoming their perpetrator. Anna believed her children when many wouldn't. She has fought a negligent and uncaring system, which failed to protect her family when they were needed the most. Anna has worked with many agencies that range from law enforcement, counselors, teachers, attorneys, private investigators; and she lived in a woman's shelter. Anna is now telling her story.
