Things You Can Do
Daniel Burnette
A writer with ambitious ambitions somehow manages to secure a position in the National Writer's Department, a most prestigious post and door to a lucrative writing career, by producing works designed to sell. He soon loathes what he has done and what he has wrote, and seeks to have his own original content published, only to be denied by the powerful Censorship Committee. His life and career soon spiral further and further out of control as rejection after rejection accumulate, leaving him wondering what he has left to offer. He sets out to write one great work, one that surely will get published, even if it consumes him.
