This is the story of the rocky liaison between Mark Bloomberg and Debra Winbourne who work for a successful New York law firm. The firm's cutting edge way of doing business ensures that they were always at the top of their game. They have powerful connections and sometimes play dirty when they have to, in order to win. The owner of the firm Mark Bloomberg was going through a divorce from Sasha. Debra Winbourne was the innocent and unwilling third party in Mark's messy love life. She was the newest member of Mark's law chambers Bloomberg & Partners and she had unwittingly stepped into the divorce settlement row between Mark and Sasha by falling head over heels in love with Mark. What had she let herself in for? If only she had been able to resist Mark's devilish good looks, will Sasha allow them to hold on to their new found happiness? Debra came from an old and powerful English family, her mother lady Diane was opposed to her working in New York as she knows Debra could use her barrister training in the UK, as well as be able to marry the man she had hoped for her.
