Hummingbird is Anhthao Bui's new collection of poetry in which she reviews her upside-down path during thirteen years of traveling after the birth of her first poetry collection, Yellow Flower. Hummingbird is Bui's continuing journey to discover her inner cord and her world with risk, darkness, struggles, obstacles, and deep transformation to different colors. Through her diverse subjects -- school, education, student, workplace, appreciation, anger, depression, failure, joy, happiness, politics, culture, and discrimination - Bui reflects on her experience of compassion, professional writing growth, joy, dynamics, determination and spontaneous humanity.
