After she is released from jail Acacia Nealy is handed a one way ticket to Americas go-to to come up city, Atlanta, Georgia, where she and her best friend Charday Tomlinson have high hopes and intentions on re-establishing themselves as the city's new self-made and paid female bosses. Acacia and Charday are forced to live double lives in order to maintain their friendship and conceal the type of lifestyles that they have each come into. One takes the high road and the other finds herself at her lowest point with an addiction.
