I became aware of Sudan - the last remaining Northern White, male rhinoceros on the planet [!] - via a post on Facebook. It shocked me to even consider that the human race could reach such an evil, insensitive, stupid situation where this could possibly happen. The demand for rhino horn, in the belief [in Chinese medicine] that it will cure serious illnesses, has, in my opinion, single-handedly, created this atrocious impending extinction. As far as we know, the Western Black rhinoceros has already, at time of writing, died out! My book will do nothing to stop poachers sawing off these beautiful animals' horns. My book will do nothing to stop the arrogance and insidiousness of China and others. The book is for Sudan. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Save The Rhino.
