This time though, Frank's investigation into a demon gang who steal human souls, propels him headlong into a deep conspiracy that threatens to enslave the whole of humanity forever. As an independent operator and no longer in the employ of the Watcher High Council, Frank and a select group of Watcher friends must work to unravel the conspiracy that threatens to bring down the city, meanwhile trying not to get brought down themselves as they take on both sides in an effort to stop the killing and destruction in the city. If that wasn't enough for Frank, he is also hell-bent on saving the love of his life from her imprisonment in Hell-and that's if he doesn't end up in Hell first himself, of course.
