It gives a why and how to navigate these important relationships by recognizing and revealing the life-long connection between birth and adoptive parents. The first part is chronological, yet topical, making it an approachable read on the subject of adoption and it is written by an adoption professional, who gives current and relevant information on adoption today. The second part challenges you to do a self-examination on the position, attitude, and beliefs about the relationship you (will) have with your child's birthparents, as it looks at postures in adoption.
