Publisher Marketing: I was born in the 1960's in Sheffield England. I am one of four sons born to my late mother Linda Lestra Germima O'Neil who sadly passed away in 1978 & father Stephen Orlando Maison. My early years were spent in Sheffield living with my parents and brothers. Things changed rapidly for us after our mother left to begin nurse training in Derby. We, being myself and my three brothers aged four, three, two and one were left in the care of our father who worked as a shot blaster, working twelve hour shifts. A newspaper clipping reported that we were left alone at home while our father went to work. One morning having been left on our own the home was raided by the NPSCC and the police, my siblings and I were taken into care. During our time in care my brothers and I were subjected to verbal and physical abuse from those who were supposed to be caring for us which we reported to our father's siblings when they visited. After some time in the children's home my father's family took an interest in getting us released from the home which saw us forced apart. The abuse didn't stop with leaving the children's home, it continued and followed us through into our adult lives. My brothers and I were separated and given to different aunts and uncles living in London and Peterborough before being taken without our mother's knowledge or permission to Guyana in South America where we lived until around 1979 when we were returned to the UK. Throughout our childhood we were subjected to abuse by the people who were supposed to take care of us. Once back in the UK, years later we learned our mother was dead and worse still was the revelation that she had no knowledge of her son's whereabouts, and that we were taken out of the country. It was also apparent that she continued to search in vain for us in England but was unsuccessful. She died at her sister's home, in her handbag was a piece of paper with our names, date of birth and last known address. This book is dedicated to my beloved mother Linda Lestra Germima O'Neil who paid the ultimate price in life at the hands of the wicked. The book attempts to chronicle her children's short life with her and the barbarity the children endured by those who stole them from her. The anguish, pain and suffering that resulted in her pursuit of her children left her broken and destroyed until her death. This is one of a series of books that tells the true story from the perspective of one of her sons
