Ron Chandler
Closing the Book on Santa Claus & Other Holiday Stories is a delightful collection of 12 short stories that will brighten the holiday season of both adults and children. The title story is about a father who tries to save his daughter's holiday celebration after it is cancelled at her school. He organizes a rally at city hall, but unexpected calamity prevails. Other notable stories concern a gymnast who receives an early gift to spur her recovery, immigrants coping with their first Christmas, a relative who disrupts a family gathering by giving small gifts that have epic repercussions, homemade holiday cards that raise a ruckus, and a stolen Christmas tree that brings nothing but trouble.
