The usually reliable computer systems begin to act strangely regarding who can access information. The station's computer specialist claims to be working on it, but most believe he is really causing it for personal reasons. The station personnel must make several critical decisions regarding their survival. How long can they stay in space? When and how should they return to earth? What kind of alliance of co-operation can they form with the Russian and Japanese space stations? Who can be trusted to guide them to safety?
