Months have passed since the zombie outbreak decimated the population of the earth, only to realize a more sinister master race that feeds upon what is left of humanity. For thousands of years they have plagued human kind in shadow. After her epic battle and her subsequent victory, Beth Harris, The Key Holder, gains a new ally in Adam Swift, scientist, Reaper and Humanist. His goals are to find a balance between Reapers and Humans. He begins a quest to cure the zombie virus, and to reverse the Reaper Syndrome that has tortured him for two thousand years. His journey leads him north to San Francisco, and the Reaper who replaced him as the second in command, Elijah. With little more than cunning and a fully functioning laboratory, all of humanity's hopes rest with Adam Swift.
