Mr. Walter has farmed all his life, raising both cattle and hogs. He is most well known for his sorghum. He has only used one variety of sorghum seeds (Honey Drip) Old varieties of field corn such as Old Jack (yellow jarvis) for old timey yellow corn. Mr. Walter butchered his own livestock for himself and for others. How to make sorghum molasses:1. You got to take your time and strip it clean.2. You then cut it with a blade which removes the heads.3. Take it to your mill.4. Make it the same day or the next morning.5. Set up one day, mash the juice and cook it off the same day.6. Clean up pan until next time.
