Shortly after graduation, Jasper Jay Hawk is ready to leave the familiarity of home and spread his wings. He embarks on a summer adventure across Maine with little more than his bicycle that folds into a suitcase and trusty canine companion, Fido a jet black German Shepard who understands English. Jasper peddles from Landrush Maine to Old Calcutta in northern Maine to help on his grandfather's struggling farm. In route to his destination, he encounters new friends, dangerous adversaries and uncovers strange secrets that could be just the thing to save his grandparent's beloved chicken farm.
