Gregg Wager is a composer, musicologist and music critic who contributed regularly to the Los Angeles Times from 1985 to 1991. He holds a PhD in musicology from the Free University Berlin andrecently earned a JD from the McGeorge School of Law. HIGH AND LOW CULTURE SINCE 1975 represents one observer's conclusions about the times he witnessed firsthand. It discusses candidly music, but also how other trends in politics, art, conspiracy theories, and psy-ops influenced the music. These are snapshots in a family album and should be perused as such.
