The Electric Irn-bru Acid Test (The Glas Vegas Chronicles) (Volume 1) Steven W Palmer 1. izdevums

Imagine 'Stand by Me' meets 'Trainspotting'. That's just what 'The Electric Irn-Bru Acid Test' manages to achieve in this first volume of Graham's adventures and misadventures growing up in the West of Scotland. Covering the period from 1978 to 1983, join Graham as he battles against rampaging hormones, totalitarian parents and school teachers who would not have been out of place in SS uniforms. The struggles he goes through are ones we can all identify with from some angle and, regardless of your upbringing, there will be resonant points for everyone. Often funny, sometimes sad but nearly always accurate, this is a fun filled romp through the heady days of puberty and beyond.
