Life in Vietnam VI VI Nguyen

I was born in Central Vietnam. Growing up with my family meant a lot of tears... a broken heart. During the war, afraid and nervous. After the war... hunger and hardship. But, I have to endure and accept it. All through it, I have to try and keep my belief in God, and keep my dream of freedom... the road to go to America... so far away. Keeping my faith and dream alive not easy. "A true story, deliberately left in the halting, endearing English of the author, makes a special read."
