Nicholas Constantine comes from a proud Greek heritage. However, in the womb, his brain is hard-wired wrong and he can't seem to memorize the alphabet or even the simplest math problem. A precocious little girl moves in next door and begins to help him. Shortly thereafter, he is given an experimental drug by the family doctor and his brain takes off!
