Andre Robideau is a man hiding from his past, after 40 years he assumed that he had succeeded, but then a whole town is killed and the FBI pay him a visit. Andre realises that he must face his past and his fears and hunt down someone that has rediscovered one of the most lethal weapons man has ever created. Jack Stanton is an agent for a new secret anti-terror group and is surprised to hear that he must team up with a scientist to complete his next assignment. Along the way they meet the daughter of one of Andre's old colleagues who helps Jack realise that there is something missing from his life and she might very well be it. But for Jack this becomes one of his most difficult cases and he has to do many questionable things. The real question will be, if he completes his mission will he still be the same person at the end of it?
