None of my grandchildren has any first hand knowledge of my grandparents. Likewise, in all likelihood, my great grandchildren will have no first hand knowledge of my parents, my siblings, or me. I wrote this history of my life to build a bridge between the generations on either side of me. It describes the process I have gone through to become the man I am. Although It was written primarily with my family - my children and grandchildren in mind, I am confident that others will find the odyssey of my life to be both instructive and entertaining. If I could have the wish of my heart, someone reading this history would be prompted to write his or her own life story. If I could inspire one single person to write his own, all the pain associated with writing it will have been worthwhile. Even if you don't know me from Adam's off ox, read this book.
