Publisher Marketing: My name is Casey, I'm an alcoholic. As I write this, I'm almost nineteen years old. I'll always be nineteen years old, because I'm a fictional character. The things that are real in my story are the diseases of alcoholism and addiction. The author used a few familiar names of people to remember who the characters were. However, the people in my life are not based upon the life of E. Anonymous. E. Anonymous is lucky I came along when I did. Because my story was the closest we could come to a fearless and searching moral inventory of ourselves. I got very sick, very quickly. E. Anonymous was honest enough to throw every character defect in the book at me. That was pretty rough, but it was honest. That's what I hope people will get out of my story, honesty. Maybe you're an alcoholic, or an addict. Maybe someone you love is going down the wrong path. Maybe you're not ready to listen to real people talking about real life. My story is short and sweet, with a happy ending. I'm blessed with a fictional life, and a recovering author. Your story is being written jointly by God and yourself. You'll make choices, but free will may allow your ego to kill you. Mine nearly did. I don't want to scare you, but I will if I have to. I'm not real, but E. Anonymous is. I promise we'll be honest.
