It has been a joy writing these poems. As I have grown in the Lord (abiding in His Presence) the Holy Spirit has inspired me by giving me different topics or themes to express and reciprocate my love and gratitude. As you read these poems you will find yourself drawn closer and closer to God. You will realize how significant and loved you are by Him. You will get a greater appreciation of God as the Great Creator. And, through these poems, you will find how God uses His creation to point to greater truths. You will even see His creation crying out in gratitude. We all go through difficult times, which are a part of life, but these poems will give you the assurance that God will be with you every step of the way. In these poems you will discover that He will see you through the storms in your life and you will realize that God will use all things to bring you closer to Him. He will also use what you go through to even bless you and bring beauty from it. Isaiah 61:3 says "He will give you a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of a spirit of despair"...paraphrased. Through these poems you will discover many of the treasures you find in God. Treasures whose values have no measure. Start digging... Linda Chase is a wife, mother, retired elementary teacher, and now author of a work of poems/psalms inspired by her love of God and her relationship with Him. Mrs. Chase attended Rio Grande College in southern Ohio, and while rearing three children, completed her studies at Virginia State College. She taught as an elementary teacher and later received certification in the Discovery program and worked with children with learning disabilities during the end of her career. She has always been involved with church activities, having taught children in Sunday school for a number of years. She is currently a prayer intercessor in the Isiah 61 prayer ministry. In this book Mrs. Chase seeks to share that love of God and hopes what she has written will draw others to Him.
