Behold the Man L. B. Yates

Jesus was a real, flesh-and-blood man while on this Earth - 100 percent so. Here is why this is so important: If Jesus lived a perfect life as a man of flesh and blood, pleasing the Father and obeying always the Father by the power and Spirit of the Father, He lived a life here that I can also live, by the power of Christ and the presence of the Father in me. Everything we are supposed to do today in His name, He modeled perfectly for us 2,000 years ago in a human body just like ours. That covers Part A. Part B goes on to explain the rules given by Jesus in Matthew 5, 6 and 7 for living in the kingdom of God today. I will extensively reference a couple of dear friends of mine for this portion. Then Part C will hook these two thoughts together, looking at the life of Christ lived in the Kingdom of God. For Westerners, it is not a pretty picture. We are a proud and belligerent bunch, and humility, as the Beatles said, "You know it don't come easy!" Behold the Man will challenge you to live the life of Christ in the Kingdom of God here and now by the example of His life and the rules of the kingdom from the Sermon on the Mount. There is a new way to live, a new way to work, and a new way to pray that releases God's Kingdom on Earth through His children of the Light. We are chosen and equipped to take His light into the darkness and His peace into the chaos.
