She spent a significant part of her legal career as a legal aid attorney which both fulfilled a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others and provided her, along with her own early life experiences, with a great deal of inspiration for her first novel, Guava Gravy. Clytie has been an avid reader from the first moment she discovered her fascination with words, their meanings, and the wonderful illumination a well put-together collection of them can evoke. There were a great many wonderful authors whose contributions brightened her life, but of them all she has loved the works of Jane Austen longest and best. She is delighted to present her two-volume set released as Lizzy's Diary Volume I: Private and Prejudiced and Lizzy's Diary Volume II: Prejudice Revealed..
