What if you were able to get even with the most aggressive, most obnoxious, and least civil of the paparazzi? And, what if you were to become a hero while doing so? Well then, I have a story for you. Rick (call-sign R2) was a natural leader who really didn't try to be, but then he was also the guy who was always organizing some grand adventure. One of his escapades, his championship paintball team, had lasted long enough to take on a more personal meaning because of the close friendships that had developed over the years. Now signs were showing that the team might be drifting apart, and R2 just wouldn't let that happen without a fight. Surprisingly, a teammate unintentionally provides the inspiration for a solution, and a contest develops designed to re-capture the team?s enthusiasm. R2 soon convinces his players to join in a complicated game oriented towards ?getting even? for offenses by some particularly overzealous paparazzi. But during the game, the squad discovers an insidious plan for the kidnapping attempt of a Hollywood starlet by an obsessed loner. The team is suddenly in a quandary, being guilty of at least criminal mischief, and more, so they can?t go to the police; but the fact is that they are also the only ones who can possibly prevent this crime from taking place. Now, they must use their clandestine skills to foil the kidnapping attempt while also trying to deliver the would-be abductor to the police without revealing their identities, or getting caught for their own transgressions.
