The Blood-dimmed Tide Part Two: Federation of Wolves (Volume 2) Matt Medlock 1. izdevums

The year 2074. The coasts ravaged by rising tides. A nation overwhelmed by refugees. Where widespread poverty and desperation breeds a fertile ground for crime, violence and terrorism. On the other side of a quelled uprising and the precipice of international war, the United States squirms beneath the bootheel of the very institution that once pulled them from the brink: the S3. An institution that will stop at nothing to keep the nation secure from enemies foreign and domestic. Agendas both real and invented. Eve. The victim of a massive cross-country manhunt. After barely escaping with her life on repeated occasions. And armed with only a mysterious device in her head and a vague video clue that insists: YOU ARE THE CARRIER. She is faced with only two options. Either attempt to flee and disappear from the grid forever. Or pursue the fragmented hints of her true identity and uncover the reasoning and purpose behind her hunters' relentless and bloodthirsty pursuit. But the closer she comes to the truth, the greater the peril that surrounds her. Aided by hard, cynical thief and former insurgent Darian Voss and his crew of felonious lowlifes, Eve is forced to trust untrustworthy allies as she attempts to turn the table on her enemies. And risk venturing into the lion's den to free herself once and for all. By the time she begins to recognize the depth of their terrible secrets. And just how ruthless their machinations are. It may be too late to save her accomplices. Or herself.
