The purpose of this book was to be able to analyze, understand and find ways and means to cope with the many faces of various problems of old age, as sooner or later, most of us may be involved with caring for the aged people. In our case, my wife and I consider it to be our good fortune to have the opportunity to care for my mother. Further, we are lucky that my mother, till very recently, is able to move about and in full control of her faculties. In most other cases, problems may be many more and difficult. Perhaps, others may be able to benefit somewhat from our experience. When you are helpless, our parents care for us. When they require help they must be fully cared for, not only as a duty, but with full affection and vibe which includes spontaneousness without hesitation. We have many friends, relatives and children to look to; they have only you to look to.
