iLead: the Little Black Book on Leadership is a 40 page personal handbook for young people that expressly communicates to them the importance of accepting the responsibility of being a leader. Students are exposed to various principles to apply in their lives which allow them to become a person of influence and make a difference in their world. The handbook is designed to provide individuals with quick personal lessons, which when implemented in their lives, will allow them to unleash their fullest potential as a leader and a person. These lessons are meant to be revisited as often as possible not read once and put on a shelf to be remembered no more. The short design of the content allows the reader to read the lessons multiple times in an effort to establish the principles as daily habits in their lives. The little black book is also extremely effective when implemented in the context of a small group environment with a facilitator who can expand on the topics and offer real life illustrations to add depth to the content. The little black book on leadership was developed in conjunction with the iLead Leadership Development Framework initiative. A school-based initiative designed to unleash the power of positive energy and to cultivate the students of today to be influential leaders of tomorrow. Recommended for students in grades 5-12.
