International terrorism, gun violence and the horrific use of poison gas against innocent children, sometimes even justified by religious beliefs, motivated me to write this book. I see an urgent need to better understand the causes of aberrant and destructive human behavior, and particularly how it is influenced by a person?s belief in God. This book offers a view of God that strongly affirms the supreme potential value in every human life.
