This book is a contemporary distillation of St. Bonaventure's timeless 13th century work, The Six Wings of the Seraph, in which he describes six qualities that should guide men charged with governing a Christian community. His words are amazingly appropriate even in the 21st century. Priests, especially pastors, are called to be teachers of the Word, ministers of the sacraments and leaders of the community. This short book (30 pages), addresses the character of the pastor himself and how it affects his leadership role within the community.
