Reflections on forty-three of the New Testament?s most well-known passages, aimed at helping you be changed by His Word and find peace and purpose in a world of conflicting values and temptations, live the messages of Jesus, and recognize the Spirit at work in your life. Message from the Author: I decided to write-down my thoughts about Scripture passages, because the W0rd of God has changed me so I could find a deeper meaning for my life, and greater love for Him, my family and others. Reflecting on God?s Word came after many years of struggle and searching for purpose. With the help of Christian friends, I gained a new appreciation for God?s message to people and me in particular. Reading the Bible was not part of my upbringing, religion and church were. Only in middle age did I begin to study God?s word. It opened a new world for me, increased my faith, and helped me find a sense of peace in my life. I?m not a Scripture scholar, just an ordinary man wanting to grow closer to Him. So, my reflections are not necessarily intellectual. But, they are heart-felt. I?ve prayed that the Spirit guide my thoughts and written words. My hope is that in reading these you grow closer to the Father and Son, and that the Spirit guide your life-long journey. May God?s Word be living and active in you.
