Here's a snippet from "And God speaks...... A Prophet's Counsel: Relationships". God?s plans for our lives are to bring us to a place of perfecting. He desires that we maintain in the original image that He created us to be (which is to be like HIM). God uses the fiery trials for HIS GLORY (I Peter 4:12). I have personally seen it used as filtration. So that the Word of the Lord flows through us with purity lacking any demonic, ungodly, or fleshly contaminates. It?s because of the process, we can stand before man and all they see is Him. And it?s our brokenness through the process whereby we can stand before God and He can see Himself. We are created in HIS image (Gen. 1:27). God blessed us to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it (Gen. 1:28)! We are built to endure, persevere, dominate, and conqueror all things. We are a powerful creation, a force to reckon with, & all creation knows that God chose us to be just like Him. Through the process, God develops so much in us. Compassion, excellence, endurance, faith, love, is just a few areas that God perfects in us. Covenant & non- covenant relationships are vessels by which these are developed. Its people, we love and ones who don?t care too much for us, that helps bring out of us what God has put in us. It?s written "Iron sharpens Iron". When we are being sharpen it shouldn?t feel like a sponge, blankets, or tissue; it?s rough and sometimes painful. It sharpens us by tearing away at the dull edges. Glory to God, we become a tool fit for the MASTER'S use.
