When Domenic's wife, Barbie, was diagnosed with a rare cancer called thymoma for the second time in eight years at age 33, he was confused, overwhelmed, and scared. Their sons were ages 3 and 10 months, and he had just started a new position as an in-house lawyer for a large international bank.
