Carly signs for a special delivery, addressed to her husband, without realizing it will make a significant impact on her life. She believes her husband, Sam, is retired from the military and working for a small aviation company. Sam needs to get his wife away from danger without giving away any top secret information. The lies start with his announcement that he bought a private airplane and the lies continue to build. Instead of going to Las Vegas for a romantic weekend, Carly wakes up in a strange town. She is rescued from being sent to an Institution by the local sheriff when a member of the Dave crew comes to her aid. She gets dropped off on the side of the highway by a taxi driver who pulls out a gun, wanders in the pouring rain until she comes to the door of Walter and Ruthie.
