Publisher Marketing: Mark Stone is a politically appointed Under-Secretary in the Department of Commerce. Seven days before his long awaited retirement, he receives a call from Senator Patrick O'Donnell, chairman of a powerful sub-committee for international relations. The next day, Mark is forcibly taken aboard a luxurious yacht in Alexandria where he finds O'Donnell waiting for him. Over the course of the next twelve hours, Mark is introduced to a beautiful woman named Megan who is third in command at the Department of Defense, and an Oriental named Ling. O'Donnell previously provided each of them with a flash drive. Unknown to any of the three, each flash drive contains one fourth of a highly sensitive, super-secret information. At dinner that evening, O'Donnell unveils a plan to surreptitiously rule the internet via a computer chip. The blue-prints for this chip are contained on the three flash drives. When combined with the final flash drive, O'Donnell plans to force Ling to secretly install the CHIP in every newly manufactured commercial and private computer used through out the world. Four days of intrigue push Mark beyond anything he has ever experienced. He becomes deeply involved with Megan, destroys twenty-three years of sobriety in on night, and uncovers the key to unlock the flash drives codes. With nowhere else to turn, Mark confides to DC Park Police Detective Martinez, which complicates matters to the point of a deadly meeting in a hotel suite with Ling.
