In 1998, science fiction novel Valhalla was published by a small publishing company. The name was changed to Not in Kansas, Anymore. Have two other science fictions books written, a book about submarines and submariners and an autobiography. Have several other novels started, including a sequel to Valhalla called The Straits of Hell. Has a chapter in an anthology called Trans People in Love, published by Haworth Press, Inc. in 2007. Have articles published in Echo Magazine, Southern Voice newspaper, Washington Blade newspaper, Houston Voice newspaper, Military Equality Alliance (MEA) newsletter, several blogs and Transgender Tapestry magazine.
