Edward Witt Chandler
In 2030, U. S. Army Lt. Chloe Rogers, while stationed in Alaska, investigates a murder and discovers the world's first two identical persons, one of whom is the murderer. He is apprehended but escapes. Five years later, Rogers has been transferred to the Pentagon when she accidentally discovers the killer arrested in Georgia. She also uncovers a secret United States Government project - Teufelhunden - responsible for the cloning of ten thousand criminals in the 1990's and for the release of the clones into society. Unable to get the government to take action, Rogers secretly undertakes with others a mission to execute the clones. Meanwhile, the FBI begins an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of the criminals. This is a tale of intrigue, a spine-tingling adventure in the world of genetic engineering.
