It's a tough job being a kid sometimes. There are things kids don't uderstand that can lead them to have unnecessary fears. Monsters Under My Bed and Other Silly Stories is for the litle ones who have fears they don't understand. When their imagination gets to work, those fears can become bigger. How do I deal with the monster hiding under my bed? Or the fear of bugs, thunder and lightning and being scared in the dark? Anticipating the first day of school? Through these silly stories that kids will want to read over and over again, we learn the the biggest thing to be afraid of is our own imagination at work. There is nothing to be afraid of when we stop to see what is really there.
