We Will Never Forget Lenny Pollara

I am not going to tell you this was easy for me to put a book together about 9-11 poems. It wasn't. You could not ever imagine the horror of this sad day 9-11-2001. I was not there but I give you a broad description from what I heard on TV and in the news. The sights, the sounds, the fear, the shock, the disbelief, and most of all the hurt. When you open this book and start reading my poems take it in sequence and put yourself in the middle of it now. It's 14 years of poems impacting our lives each and everyday. I never realized growing up that eventually I would have a desire to write. My mom and dad I miss you both. I thank you at this time for being my pillars of strength and understanding. To my loving children Jacqueline and Daniel for believing in your dad when I didn't believe in myself. Now I just pick up my pen and the words flow out. Remember, keep it moving it takes both time and effort to be a successful poet, be patient, and open minded to the subject of interest at this your time. I believe in myself and in my writing and have to believe in myself before conquering anything else. I just wanted to share with you at this time half of the proceeds of my book are going to a charity for kids close to my heart. Thanks for your generosity & kindness today.
