Haynes has been railroad into prison. Retired military and a disgraced deputy marshal he is finally moved to a minimum security prison, the last step before release. Haynes is the only person who can find information stolen from the cartel detailing there whole network in the states. Jimmy Baker was Haynes' medic in Vietnam and has taken a position teaching construction at the prison and finds himself falling in love with the sweet and beautiful Lisa Powell. As with a lot of biker clubs the Norsemen live in the shadows and are asked by the cartel to take out Haynes. Lisa's dead husband had worked with Haynes and could prove his innocence but was killed before he could make it happen. The key to Haynes freedom lies unknowingly with Lisa and puts her in even more danger than Haynes. A dry and slightly off color sense of humor helps Jimmy bring a ray of sunshine to some dark situations.
