Saddam Hussein
When Saddam Hussein was writing Novels, he was acting the role of common man, describing a male dominated culture covered with ignorance, illiteracy, and witchcraft . As a leader he did not lack resources or power to make a change, instead he used power and wealth for other purposes. This novel shows how ignorance the people are, they are fooled by witchcraft persons, to solve their ills instead of going to modern physicians. An act widely practiced in many Arab countries. As a leader, he made gave very little attention in this regard.
